設計師 Vartan 以作品《鼓聲過池》參加「龍潭文學所在」徵件比賽，作品從龍潭在地生活、聲音與氣味出發，以細膩文字描繪地方記憶，獲得評審肯定，榮獲本次比賽佳作。
Designer Vartan participated in the "Longtan Literature" creative competition with the piece "Drumbeats Across the Pond". Starting from the daily life, sounds, and scents of Longtan, the delicate writing depicts local memories and was recognized by the judges, winning an Honorable Mention in the competition.
從感官出發的在地書寫 Local Writing from a Sensory Perspective
《鼓聲過池》將創作視角放回日常生活，從龍潭清晨的街道與市場開始，寫下菜市場裡淡淡的茶香、剛出爐花生糖的甜味，以及風吹過龍潭大池時，遠方傳來一聲又一聲的龍舟鼓聲。這些看似平凡的生活片段，在 Vartan 的文字中重新被整理與保存，也讓讀者從聲音、氣味與地方景觀之中，看見屬於龍潭獨特的文化記憶。
"Drumbeats Across the Pond" returns the creative perspective to everyday life. Starting from Longtan's early morning streets and markets, it writes about the faint aroma of tea in the traditional market, the sweetness of freshly baked peanut brittle, and the echoing sounds of dragon boat drums when the wind blows across Longtan Pond. These seemingly ordinary slices of life are reorganized and preserved through Vartan's words, allowing readers to see Longtan's unique cultural memory through sounds, scents, and local landscapes.
文學與歷史空間的對話 A Dialogue Between Literature and Historic Spaces
此次獲獎作品於龍潭武德殿展出。當文字從創作者手中的稿件，轉化為真正印製於紙上的作品，並在老建築窗前隨著自然光呈現，也讓文學與龍潭的歷史空間產生新的連結。對 Vartan 而言，文字並非孤立的符號，而是人與土地共同生活後留下的呼吸與回音。
The award-winning works were exhibited at the Longtan Butokuden. When the words transformed from a creator's manuscript into a genuinely printed piece, presented by natural light in front of the windows of the old building, it created a new connection between literature and Longtan's historical space. For Vartan, words are not isolated symbols, but the breath and echoes left behind after people and the land live together.
透過設計與文字傳遞地方故事 Conveying Local Stories Through Design and Words
「龍潭文學所在」透過文學創作重新發掘龍潭的人文風景，而《鼓聲過池》則從日常出發，讓地方文化不只存在於地圖、景點或影像之中，更能透過故事被閱讀、記憶與傳遞。未來 Vartan 也將持續透過設計與文字創作，記錄台灣地方文化，讓更多人從不同角度重新認識龍潭。
The "Longtan Literature" initiative rediscovers the humanistic landscape of Longtan through literary creation, while "Drumbeats Across the Pond" starts from the everyday, allowing local culture to exist not only on maps, in attractions, or images, but to be read, remembered, and passed down through stories. In the future, Vartan will continue to document Taiwan's local culture through design and creative writing, allowing more people to rediscover Longtan from different perspectives.
